To be a community centered around Jesus, learning and living his message of good news.
OUR CORE VALUES
SCRIPTURE: A community centered around Jesus according to the Scriptures.
SAFETY: A community where it is safe to talk about and work through anything.
SELFLESS LOVE: A community that shows love regardless of disagreements and differences.
We meet every Sunday and regularly during the week in our small groups (JCC Community).
We place a high value on the Scriptures. You can listen to our teachings online or subscribe to our podcast.
Jesus Center Church is a non-denominational church that believes that the message of Jesus is good news for our world today. We believe that the Scriptures tell one unified story that leads us to Jesus and has authority over and wisdom for our lives.
In one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In Jesus - we believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
In Salvation – that all are justified on the sole ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ. Because all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, it is only by God’s grace through faith that we are saved.
In the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost, and that heaven and hell are real places.
In the Church and the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Holy Spirit and His activity in gifting the church to accomplish Christ’s purposes in the world.
In Love – that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. We earnestly desire to show this love, because without it we have no right to call ourselves Christians.
In Creation – that God created all things for His glory and that men and women were created in the image of God.
In Scripture – that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God.
In Christ’s Return to one day establish His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
We our a new church that began praying together as a small group in the summer of 2017 for Jesus to be the center and focus of this new church community. On October 22, 2017 we had our first Sunday gathering. As we continue to learn and live the Way of Jesus together, our desire is to see his kingdom come in Seaside and throughout the Peninsula as it is in Heaven.
